Impressive healthy habits which would make you look even younger!

A healthy habit is an activity or behavior that can benefit your physical, mental and even emotional health. At first, the small changes might not seem that effective. But when put together dozens of these tiny habits you can create a framework for a healthy life.

In this blog, you will be able to learn about eating better, exercising, and about having an overall lifestyle. Some may not apply to all people but these habits are a great starting point for anyone who may be looking to better themselves.

Let's start with the basic one, Physical Activity well known for fitness, which benefits both your body and your mind. It helps keep your weight in control, fights off chronic diseases, reduces stress, improves your mood and gives you a sense of accomplishment. Getting physical activity does not have to involve hours at the gym, instead there are many ways that you can make small changes throughout the day to make your life less sedentary and get your body moving. You can involve your family or friends in your physical activity as well. There are so many types of such physical activities that you could add to your day.

You can do some housework, or take 30 minute early morning walk. Implementing the two minute walking habit for every hour that you sit also works. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk whenever wherever you can. Use a treadmill or a height adjustable desk. Aim for ten thousand steps a day, you can also get a step tracking device. Go hiking more often as your respiratory system is more active on higher altitudes and this is the reason why athletes practice on mountains usually. Yoga is another beneficial option. Rock climbing and geocaching greatly influence your health. You must quit smoking and drinking. You must pay attention to personal, food and environmental hygiene. Workout during T.V commercials. Do some deskercise as your respiratory organs matter. Play golf and certain other outdoor games which burn a pile of calories and keep you in a good shape.

Forgiveness matters here TOO. When you are consciously able to let something go, even without an apology, it reduces your anger, stress and tension. The physical burden of feeling hurt takes a toll on the body so being able to release those negative feelings and replace them with positivity is a healthy habit. Choosing to not forgive someone increases your anger and contributes to a feeling of loss of control. Holding onto  a grudge can increase muscular tension, heart rate, decrease your sleep hours and blood pressure which are all harmful to your health.

Finally, being able to forgive can strengthen your relationship with friends and family, hence, leading to a healthy lifestyle. Except this, don't go to sleep angry. Focus on understanding yourself instead of blaming others. You must live in the present instead of being stuck in the past and remember that it's better to be kind instead of right so that it would be much easier for you to forgive, not to take revenge. And most importantly, Observe, don't judge.

Healthy Eating is one of the most beneficial habit of all. Eat until you are physically satisfied, and then stop. If you think you may still be hungry, wait 20 minutes, drink a glass of water, and reconsider if you really need another helping. Also, start eating on smaller plates so you feel as if your plate is full before you sit down to a meal. You will probably be surprised at the amount of food that actually accounts for a serving size. An examined theory states that your figure depends upon the meal strategy you adopt.

Mindlessly eating in front of T.V or running to refrigerator if you have had a bad day are both bad eating habits which would lead to obesity. For having a healthy eating habit, you must
  •    Stay away from fun-size candy bars and other treats
  •   Drink plenty of water and healthy fluids.
  •    Keep a food diary or journal.
  •    Make and drink healthy smoothies.
  •    Learn how to read nutrition labels.

Preventative Health Care Screening is important for a healthy lifestyle. People tend to go to the doctor when they become ill, or when an unfamiliar symptom pops up. From there, the doctor works with the patient to treat the problem in hopes that it will go away. It is important to be proactive about your health, regardless of if you are sick or not. Doctors may give advice on preventative measures for diseases that run in your family, or even just catch a health problem before it becomes too late. Catching health issues early is the key, so make sure that you are paying attention to your physical health no matter how you actually feel.
For avoiding dangerous diseases, you need to go for the following tests.

  •         Varicella (chicken pox).

Adequate Sleep is another factor. Sleep plays a very important role in maintaining general well-being and a healthy lifestyle. Getting enough deep sleep at night can help protect your mental and physical health, your overall quality of life, and your safety.

How you feel while you're awake is greatly dependent on the quality of sleep you are getting at night. While you are sleeping, your body is replenishing itself to support healthy brain function and optimize your physical health. Our skin is exfoliating itself and repairing any wound or damage when we sleep at night, hence, getting less than 8 sleep hours will greatly affect your skin, mental, physical and emotional health. Sleep also plays a large role in the growth and development of children. Through many theories and experiments it is proved that a good sleep equals to a healthy lifestyle.
For getting a good sleep, we must
  •   Avoid caffeine in the afternoon.
  •   Avoid heavy meals close to bedtime.
  •   Keep your pets out of the bed.
  •   Be consistent in your sleep schedule.
  •   Don’t drink too many fluids before bed.
  •   Quit smoking.
  •   Set your room temperature between 60-67 degrees F.
  •   Shut off electronics at least an hour before bed.
  •   Wear socks.
  •   Get spiritual.
  •   Visualize. Think happy thoughts.
  •   Keep a sleep log.
  •   Have a wind-down sleep routine.
  •   Learn how to get back to sleep.
  •   Make sure that the room is dark and quiet.
  •   Use an essential oil diffuser with the right essential oil for sleep.
